APPLICATION OF POLYUREA AND POLYURETHANE
Waterproofing with hot polyurea in Venice is the best solution to ensure a long-lasting result. Their remarkable versatility makes them suitable for various sectors, from construction to industry, including the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
For every need, there is a specific formulation that will be defined in collaboration with our technicians and our trusted supplier, D5 Italia.
Applications are carried out using a high-pressure spray gun (max 240 bar) and the product at a temperature of 60/80°C, fed by a dosing machine that mixes the two components with maximum precision, ensuring the desired result.
Here are the characteristics of polyureas:
- Rapid hardening, achieving mechanical properties in a very short time. A continuous, joint-free, flexible, resistant, walkable membrane, extremely thin (2-3 mm), and 100% waterproof is obtained in 1 minute.
- High resistance to hydrolysis, puncture, and abrasion.
- Usable in extreme high and low temperatures.
- Eco-compatibility: polyureas without VOCs.
- Stability without appreciable weight loss.
- No secondary reaction products.
- Chemical resistance.
- High resistance to weathering.
- Applicability at extreme temperatures between -15°C and +70°C.
- Consistent performance at temperatures between -30°C and +140°C.
Our personnel are not only trained to ensure the maximum result in application but, with additional certifications for working at heights, using aerial platforms, and, unusually, authorization for activities in confined spaces, can intervene in any context.
Thanks to its specialization in remediation, PIVER can provide a complete service to the customer for polyurea waterproofing in Venice, from surface preparation with high-pressure cleaning to polyurea application with certification of the result.
Application areas:
- Renovation of tunnels.
- Waterproofing tanks, manholes, pipes.
- Waterproofing of pools.
- Waterproofing of containment tanks.
- Waterproofing of waste transport bins.
Spray polyurethane, on the other hand, can be used for thermal and acoustic insulation on roofs, ceilings, and cavities, ensuring the safety of floating roofs and tanks.
Sometimes, it is not possible to remove a tank after remediation. In such cases, inertization of the tank can be carried out. Inertization with expanded polyurethane ensures the maintenance of inert conditions over time. This technique can also be applied to inertize the floating roof bins of floating roof tanks to prevent filling in case of puncture. In addition to ensuring internal inertization, this methodology allows the roof to maintain stability conditions in case of damage.
